I’ve got a number of Alternate Reality TWIDDERS to share in the coming couple of weeks. Check out what a couple of sisters experienced . . .
It summer 1998 when Naomi and her sister decided to pop into a paper shop. The sisters looked around the shop. The lights were off, which they thought was odd; everything was very gray and eerie. “It was,” said Naomi, “The kind of atmosphere you’d expect in the early hours of a winter morning—but this was summertime during business hours.”
Though all of the shelves were well-stocked, the sisters were the only people there. They felt cold, as though something funny was going on.
They exited the shop, but lingered outside the door. After a minute, they decided to go back in. “When we entered the shop [the second time] the lights were on and it was FULL of customers; school kids, people on their way to work, etc.!”
The woman behind the till was staring at us with her mouth open. Naomi’s sister said, “What the he– is going on? Where did all these people come from?” Naomi was in total shock.
When they paid for their purchases, the cashier still looked terrified. The sisters left the shop, but have never been able to explain what happened.
A retired teacher I may be, but collecting the extraordinary accounts of spacetime slips folks have documented keeps me busy. (Almost as busy as racing after 14 grandchildren!)
